“It was in the month of Ramadan that the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful.”
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged standing for night prayer in the month of Ramadan, without imposing it on them. The Prophet would say, “Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” After the Prophet passed away the matter continued like that, then continued like that during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr and in the early part of the Caliphate of Umar.

Salat al-Tasbih will be done Friday, March 28, 2025 @ 11:30 pm .
The prayer of Tasbih is among the optional prayers, this prayer is given great eminence. Salat al-Tasbih is usually prayed as qiyam after 'lsha' or as part of tahajjud before Fajr.
The way it is performed is described in the following hadith:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to al-Abbas ibn AbdulMuttalib: Abbas, my uncle, shall I not give you, shall I not present to you, shall I not donate to you, shall I not produce for you ten things? If you act upon them, Allah will forgive you your sins, first and last, old and new, involuntary and voluntary, small and great, secret and open.
Pray four rakaats and read Surah al-Fatihah and a surah in each and, when you finish reading in the first rakaat, say while standing: 'Subhan Allah wa-l-hamdu lillah wa la ilaha illa Allah wallahu akbar' ("Glory be to Allah", "Praise be to Allah", "There is no god but Allah", "Allah is most great") fifteen times. Then bow and after your normal recitations, say it ten times while bowing. Then raise your head from bowing and say it ten times. Then fall to prostration and say it ten times while prostrating, then raise your head from prostration and say it ten times, then prostrate and say it ten times, then raise your head and say it ten times. This makes seventy-five in each rakaat. You do that in the four rakaats. If you can perform it once a day then do so, otherwise once a week, otherwise once a month, otherwise once a year, otherwise once in a lifetime.

For those who can fast only with extreme difficulty, there is a way to compensate- feed a needy person. But if anyone does good of his own accord, it is better for him, and fasting is better for you, if only you knew.”
